We have an eager group of talented volleyball enthusiasts, ready to train hard and help grow the passion and love for the game! Teams are national unless designated as Regional.

12-Elite Head Coach – Payton Depies – Regional

Payton is a recent graduate of the Wisconsin Elite program. She played two years in the program and is now continuing her career at Carroll as a setter. She worked all 2022-23 season with our 14 and under program and assisted with our 13-Elite team this past season. She is eager to continue sharing that knowledge and passion. Payton is an elite-level setter and from Germantown High School to college she continues to excel.

Just a few 2023 Stats at Carroll: Appeared in 75 sets in 23 matches while starting 21 matches…scored 33 points with 14 kills, 630 assists, 173 digs, and eight blocks…tallied 51 assists, ten digs, and one kill against Benedictine (IL) on 10/10/23…recorded 48 assists and 19 digs with two blocks against Concordia Wisconsin on 10/07/23


12-Elite Assistant Coach – Kylie Wittnebel – Regional

Kylie is a Middle Blocker and Opposite Hitter for Carroll. She is from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and is a sophomore now. Here are just a few of her 2023 stats: Appeared in 28 sets over 13 matches with 2 matches started…scored 51 points with 43 kills, seven digs, and 13 blocks…nailed 10 kills on 21 attempts with one block against Lawrence on 10/18/23…recorded three blocks and two kills against Dubuque on 9/29/23. She is eager to jump into coaching with veteran Payton Depies.

12-Red Head Coach – Megan Ansley – Regional

Megan has been coaching regional, national , and youth volleyball since 2017, and previously was trained by Jon and Patrick for two seasons as a libero and defensive specialist in 2015 and 2016. She is currently the Program Director for Waukesha North Jr Northstars Volleyball, and is very excited to continue her coaching career at Wisconsin Elite!

12-Blue Head Coach – D’Janae Gilley – Regional

2022: As a freshman was a member of the Muskies’ varsity reserve squad and did not play in a varsity match.

High School: Three-year letter winner on volleyball team… Three-time team captain… Second team all-district selection as a sophomore.

Personal: Daughter of Tarawn Gilley and Irais Macias and has three brothers (Marcel, Xavier and Kamoni)… Majoring in exercise science.

13-Elite Head Coach – Jeff Bandle

Jeff is very passionate about volleyball. He has played the sport his entire adult life and has been coaching club for 10 years. He believes in building the “team” and developing the players both as athletes and as people. Outside of volleyball Jeff enjoys working out, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. He is married to Christie and has a daughter Lilly, who is a sophomore in college, and a volleyball player as well.

13-Elite Assistant Coach – Annalissa Reyes

Coming from Rockford, Illinois, Annalissa has worked with multiple age groups in the coaching realm. She coached for VC-United, Rockford Volleyball and coached our 12-Red team this past season. She plays volleyball at MSOE and is eager to continue coaching in the Milwaukee area for Wisconsin Elite. She is a long-time player and is looking to bring that experience to the 13-Elite team.

13-Blue Head Coach – Aimee Sullivan – Regional

Aimee returns to the Wisconsin Elite coaching staff for her fourth year with the club. As a former volleyball and fastpitch softball player and club coach, she brings an extensive background to the organization. Upon graduating from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in Milwaukee, WI, she competed collegiately for Georgia State University until having to step away from her scholarship due to a career-ending back injury. This allowed Aimee to jump into coaching back in the Milwaukee area as she finished a dual major in Nursing and Kinesiology through UW-Milwaukee.

Her passion for working with student-athletes led her to coach both sports at her alma mater at the varsity level. Other coaching experiences have included running her own fastpitch softball club as well as coaching both girls and boys club volleyball in SE Wisconsin. Coach Sullivan continues to look for opportunities to give back to both sports out of gratitude for the experiences and mentoring she has had throughout her training years.

Currently, Aimee serves professionally as the VP of Operations for the Crawford Evaluation Group.

Married to Patrick Sullivan, they have a daughter who is completing her senior year at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, looking forward to taking on a BS in Biology. In her free time, Aimee enjoys following the Badger Women’s VB team, spending time with family – including the family dog, Rosie, and volunteering with her daughter Lainey.

14-Elite Head Coach – Ari Neumeyer

Ari brings her extensive player background to the coaching realm along with her past coaching experience. She has coached across the age spectrum, but loves working in the 14-15s age group. She focuses heavily on being disciplined at practice, focusing on the details, building mental strength and volleyball IQ all while balancing it with a love of the sport. She was all conference for 4 years of college at Lawrence. She was Top 5 for kills and digs and took the team to the conference tournament for the first time in school history. She continues to play at a high level across the Midwest area!

14-Red Head Coach – Brianna Becker

Brianna is entering her 4th year with Wisconsin Elite Volleyball, working with both the 15s and 14s age group. Along with coaching club, she has coached her old middle school’s 7th/8th-grade girls’ volleyball team for the past 4 years. She has played volleyball for most of her life, starting at the age of 9. She graduated from Menomonee Falls High School where she was on Varsity for 3 years. Following HS, she played club at Northern Illinois University. Bri still enjoys playing volleyball today, but more for fun in both indoor and outdoor leagues with her mom and friends.

Her coaching style is to push hard at practice and instill a love for the process. She has excellent communication in breaking down playtime, positions, and technical feedback. She is looking forward to a great season ahead. 

14-Red Assistant Head Coach – Rachel Murphy

Rachel is a 2nd year coach with Wisconsin Elite with many years as a player under her belt. She has been playing since she was 11 years old and played club for 6 years. In high school she was a 3 year varsity member at Menomonee Falls High School. She went on to play D1 College volleyball at the University of New Mexico where she became a program ranked middle for blocking by her sophomore year and transferred to Lipscomb University her junior year where they were conference champs and made it to the NCAA Tournament. 

As a coach Rachel likes to make sure everything is left on the court in games and in practice, but also promotes great communication and mind set skills to grow as a player and together as a team. 

14-Blue Head Coach – Lauren Wilson

Lauren is a former high school athlete, club athlete and has done individual 1-on-1 coaching with varying ages 10-18 before moving to Wisconsin. She brings her player background to the coaching world eager to help push the girls to reach their goals as individuals but with a team mindset. She is very excited to be bringing her background to the 15-Silver team for her first year at Wisconsin Elite.

14-Silver Head Coach – Jason Deibert – Regional

Jason is entering his second year with Wisconsin Elite Volleyball. He played volleyball at Augustana College and were nationally ranked each year for Division 2. As a former collegiate volleyball player, he’s turned his passion for playing into a passion for coaching and developing volleyball athletes. His coaching style is one that engages his players, encourages confidence, motivates teammates, and hopefully grows each player’s love for the game. 

Jason is married to the best volleyball mom and together they have 3 daughters- two of them play for Wisconsin Elite, one is on Franklin’s competitive dance team. At home there is usually a volleyball being touched or bounced off the walls. Jason still plays sand volleyball and enters a few grass 3’s tournaments every year.

15-Elite Head Coach – Nick Potts

Growing up as the oldest of five kids, and the fourth oldest of twenty-five grandkids, teaching and coaching have always been an integral part of Nick Potts’s life. He grew up in the Milwaukee area and attended New Berlin Eisenhower HS. He then graduated from UW-Madison where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education. While attending UW, he served as Vice President and a four-year starter for the Men’s Club Volleyball Team. Upon graduating, he began teaching middle school art & design and coaching in the Madison area, which he continued for eight years. After having an opportunity to live abroad in Helsinki, Finland for a year, Nick moved back to the Milwaukee area and teaches middle school art in the Muskego-Norway School District.

Nick’s energy and passion for the game motivate players to want to grow and become better for their teammates. Drawing from a vast knowledge base in different learning styles, he strives to assist his teams in cultivating a solid foundation of technique and strategy, and seeks to help each athlete grow into well-rounded players and passionate students of the game. Nick takes pride in helping athletes build confidence, develop into leaders, and strengthen mental fortitude through the game of volleyball.

15-Elite Assistant Coach – Julia Hilbrands

Julia is entering her second year at Wisconsin Elite Volleyball but has been around the game most of her life. Originally from Michigan, Julia attended Calvin University and was a 4-year member of the volleyball and basketball teams, a career that included all-conference honors in both sports, several conference championships, a National Runner-Up, and a National Championship. After college Julia lived on the East Coast for several years to attend graduate school to study nutrition and public health and then found her way to the Milwaukee area where she’s been ever since. Since moving here, she’s enjoyed getting into the volleyball scene by playing in leagues and tournaments and is thrilled to now get into the coaching game as well. In her free time, Julia enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling.

15-Blue – Assistant Coach- Briuna Harper

Briuna Harper is a college student at Lakeland University studying sports management & leadership with an emphasis on athletic coaching. She is a long-time player and is passionate about working with the youth ages of sports. She is entering her second season at Wisconsin Elite Volleyball.

15-Silver Head Coach – Chris Zorzin – Regional

Outside of volleyball he is a superintendent for a commercial construction company. His wife Jennifer and him have 2 daughters, his oldest plays for Wisconsin Elite and youngest is a basketball player, they are also both involved in competitive dance. 

As a coach Chris promotes good sportsmanship and the importance of being a good teammate . Creating a culture where everyone supports, encourages and looks out for each other. He looks forward to his first year at Wisconsin Elite Volleyball.

16-Elite Head Coach – Patrick Bieser

Patrick is a co-founder, Master Coach, and Director of Wisconsin Elite Volleyball. His journey in volleyball began in high school at Nicolet. He was the starting setter for his Freshmen team and then jumped to Varsity as a three year starter. He was an all-state libero and still holds the D1 State record for digs in a match. He went to school at UW-Madison where he played 6-rotation outside and Libero at times. He continues to play at the Open/Semi-Pro level in tournaments around the country. He is the current starting Libero for the VLA Milwaukee Dive team, which is the United States true professional mens volleyball league. His passion for playing is shared in his coaching of all ages. After two seasons head coaching the 14-Elite team, he is eager to Head Coach the 16-Elite team again. He looks forward to helping them grow as people, players, and teammates and chase a strong National finish. His philosophy revolves around working harder to do great little things and make plays for the hard balls. Strong technique, reps with intent, and a passion to grow each practice is the mentality he strives to push onto his teams. Elevating talent to jump into the next levels of play motivates him to continue pushing girls in practice and tournaments. 

Other notable exciting pieces from his coaching background include traveling to Japan to study grade school play to the college level. The incredible dedication and work ethic was rewarding to see and learn from. He also recently traveled to Alaska to coach a high school team camp and continues to help out in area Grass and beach clinics as well. He has also worked college camps, including the UW-Madison Badger Camp as a lead coach for a group. His coaching background now totals over 10 years of experience.

16-Red Head Coach – Angela Kienast

Angela is a highly experienced coach with 17 years of experience coaching high school volleyball and 9 years of experience coaching long-distance track. In addition to her passion for coaching and volleyball, Angela also loves running. This is Angela’s fourth year with Wisconsin Elite Volleyball, and she is very excited to work with the 16s program to grow their skills and love of the game!

16-Red Assistant Coach – Monica Wang

Monica has coached for the Wisconsin Elite for three years and really developed the 14-Regional program in the 22-23 season and 16-Blue team for the 2023-2024 season. She is a coach by day, ref by night, and celebrity TikToker as well (@monica.vball). She also is a Marketing Director in the Milwaukee area. You can always count on Monica to be on top of the girls, highly organized, and a passionate coach.

2022: Played in all 30 matches and a total of 104 sets… Finished with 275 kills, also posting 156 errors in 850 total attacks for a .140 hitting percentage… Also added 62 digs, 27 blocks (five solo, 22 assisted) and six assists… Named honorable mention all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference selection for the second straight year… Tabbed as NACC Offensive Player of the Week Oct. 2… Set career high with 17 kills at Concordia Wisconsin Oct. 26 and finished with double-digit kills in 14 matches.

2021: As a freshman played in 22 matches and a total of 71 sets… Finished with team-high 198 kills and 120 errors in 651 attacks for a .120 hitting percentage… Led team in kills and kills per set (2.79) and was named an honorable mention all-NACC selection… Added 40 digs, 16 blocks (three solo, 13 assisted), one service ace and one assist… Posted double-digit kills in eight matches including a high of 16 kills against Aurora Oct. 8… Also finished with 15 kills at Concordia (Ill.) Oct. 1 and added 14 kills plus a season-best eight digs against St. Norbert Oct. 15… Named to UW-Eau Claire Sandy Schumacher all-tournament team.

17-Elite Co-Coach – Amanda Yackley

Amanda is a 3rd year returning coach for Wisconsin Elite. Last year she and Emma coached the 15 – Blue team. Growing up in the Kenosha area, she played nine years of club volleyball as well as high school. She graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering where she played volleyball for 4 years and studied BioMolecular engineering.

17- Elite Co-Coach – Emma Braun

Emma is a third year returning coach for Wisconsin Elite. She and Amanda have coached at the 15s age level the last two seasons, both regionally and nationally. Growing up in the Waukesha area, she played five years of club volleyball as well as high school. She also played collegiately at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, graduating recently with a degree in Biomedical Engineering.

Sandy played volleyball at Muskego High School. Helped the team to three WIAA State tournaments. Still holds 3 D1 State blocking records. Played club for Sports Performance Volleyball in IL. During that time helped her team to 2 first place finishes at the AAU 18s Open National Championships and also won a World Championship. Played DI volleyball at Marquette where she helped her team to a sweet 16 appearance and 4 NCAA tournament appearances.

18-Debbie – Assistant Coach – Sandy Malak

Nick has played volleyball for 10 years. He has recently graduated from Benedictine University where he is the all time kills leader and helped his team to their first conference championships. He was named first and second team ALL-NACC. He has coached volleyball for 2 years, at various clubs and at Mukwonago HS as a varsity assistant. He has recently finished a season winning the silver bracket in the USA division. 

18-Select Head Coach – Asher Wiskow

Asher is entering his 4th year with the program at Wisconsin Elite Volleyball.
