In addition, I currently coach a 7th/8th grade volleyball team for the Kewaskum Athletic Association.

With my playing experience, I bring a strong knowledge of volleyball technique, and my teaching background allows me to effectively manage and connect with athletes.

Mackenzie Turner

  • Started playing volleyball in 8th grade on a Jv 2 team with no specific position.
  • Played freshman year at Ashwaubenon High school on a Jv 2 team as a middle hitter.
  • Transferred to Luxemburg Casco High School for my Sophomore year also on a Jv 2 team as a middle hitter and experimented with right side along with outside.
  • I attended every volleyball camp my high school offered and was run by many different colleges.
  • After Sophomore year I started playing club with Fox Cities Elite as mainly a middle hitter but also outside.
  • I also played with my high school’s summer tournaments team.
  • Summer before junior year I attended a volleyball camp for 3 days at Olivet Nazarene University.
  • At the start of Junior year I got injured and needed surgery but still attended every practice and game.
  • My injury led to me not playing junior or senior year of high school along with not being able to do club as well as my other sports.
  • Being injured kind of led me to understand how a coach teaches techniques and the steps of volleyball so even though I haven’t always been the best or haven’t played in awhile I think I could definitely teach some things that helped me when I played.
